It is our vision to see local churches work together to establish God-glorifying churches that are self-governing, self-supporting, and self-propagating in every people group in the Finisterre Mountains in Papua New Guinea.
We work together.
To accomplish this, we will place one team in each of the language families to evangelize and disciple one group which will in turn evangelize and disciple the other language groups in that language family.
We work through the church.
Each missionary team is selected, trained, financed, held accountable, and logistically supported by their local church, in partnership with a cooperative effort of the churches involved with this vision.
Our strategy is to place one team in 15 strategic locations throughout the mountains so that 15 teams can multiply into reaching 70 people groups with the gospel. Join us in ending the long wait for the gospel in these remote languages.
Finisterre Vision is a cooperative ministry effort of local churches. Our Board of Directors is made up of Pastors and Elders who have a passion for involving their churches in seeing the Great Commission completed in Northeast Papua New Guinea.
We are sending missionaries to PNG from these churches:
With financial support from these churches:
Contact us if your church would like to know more about partnering with us! We want to serve your church by offering full training for church planters. Contact us if your church would like to support the work of Finisterre Vision or its missionaries. Contact us if you would like to partner with us in any way to see the gospel permeate this area of the world. We continually ask God for more workers, and for the support of churches and Christians to see this work accomplished.
