It is our vision to see local churches work together to establish God-glorifying churches that are self-governing, self-supporting, and self-propagating in each of the 73 languages in the Finisterre Mountains in Papua New Guinea.
To accomplish this, we will place one team in each of the 12 language clusters to evangelize and disciple in one language, which will in turn evangelize and disciple the other languages in that language cluster.
Each missionary team is selected, trained, financed, held accountable, and logistically supported by their local church, in partnership with a cooperative effort of the churches involved with this vision.
Our strategy is to place teams in 12 different strategic locations throughout the mountains so that these teams can multiply into reaching 73 people groups with the gospel. Join us in ending the long wait for the gospel in these remote languages.
Finisterre Vision is a cooperative ministry effort of local churches. We are a group of pastors who have a passion for involving our churches in seeing the Great Commission completed in Northeast Papua New Guinea.
Contact us if your church would like to know more about partnering with us! We want to serve your church by offering full training for church planters. Contact us if your church would like to support the work of Finisterre Vision or its missionaries. Contact us if you would like to partner with us in any way to see the gospel permeate this area of the world. We continually ask God for more workers, and for the support of churches and Christians to see this work accomplished.
