Our kids don’t remember most American holidays, and since I didn’t plan ahead (read: didn’t plan a year ahead!) we had no decorations for this one.
But we are American, so we just HAD to eat a bunch of treats on this candy holiday.
My mom (Grandma Debi!) had sent new capes and masks, so the kids opened their new costumes and we taught them about trick-or-treating. Once briefed on the rules, they walked up and down our hall knocking on doors and receiving treats from us.
