Daniel and Sarah Bruce
Daniel Bruce hails from far north Queensland Australia. He was taught aspects of the Gospel as a child, but he never truly understood repentance until he saw the weight of his sin at around age 20. He was led to Christ through a ministry called “Living Waters”, through the understanding of his depravity and utter need for the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood on the cross. Through his church, Daniel found out about Finisterre Vision. Daniel quickly asked questions, got involved speaking to the director of the organization and then decided to come to America to do missionary training! The director was excited for him to come out of country, and he was also excited to set him up with a girl who had met him around the same time Daniel contacted him…
Sarah grew up in Michigan, sharing the Gospel in a ministry to Muslims in Dearborn, and college campus ministry through sports and other events. Evangelism was always her heart in everything that she did. As a child, Sarah had a similar testimony to Daniel. God sought her out through the ministry: ‘Living Waters’. Through that ministry, she understood how she had lied, dishonored her parents, and how her hatred was as bad as murder in the eyes of God! After understanding her sin and coming to faith in early high school, Sarah set out to Ethnos360 Bible Institute to receive an Associate in Biblical Studies. The executive director of Finisterre Vision soon came to speak at her college, and she was immediately convinced that this ministry was what God had for her.
Earlier this year, she graduated a few months early, connected with Daniel through the ministry, and then when Daniel came to America, he came to meet her in Michigan, and then they both moved out to Phoenix! Now they are married and members at Grace Bible Church in Tempe, Arizona.
Sarah and Daniel desire to share the Gospel with people in the unreached villages of Papua New Guinea, with Finisterre Vision. They long to teach lost souls of the seriousness of the depths of the Gospel, and to bring people to an understanding of the holiness of God, the utter depravity of man. the sinfulness revealed through the Law of God, and the depths of the cross: the death and resurrection of the perfect God-man – Jesus Christ. Finisterre Vision exists to teach tribal people with no access to any Scripture how to read and write their own language. Because of this, the goal is to give them the Gospel and an understanding of true, biblical doctrine through chronological teaching of the Bible, translating the Bible into their language, and then planting a self-sustaining church with elder-qualified leaders.
Please pray for direction for how God will use Sarah and Daniel for the proclamation of the Gospel to the ends of the earth!
Dylan and Krista Nixon
Dylan professed his faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at a summer Vacation Bible School at age seven. He and his twin brother Derek were baptized later that summer, and Dylan developed a deep love for the Word as he grew up. As a high school student in rural northeastern North Carolina, Dylan chose to attend East Carolina University to study music so that he could build relationships with fellow college students and share the Good News as he developed his musicianship as a tool for ministry and as a way to bring God glory.
Krista was raised as an only child by two loving parents who are deeply devoted to the supremacy of Christ. Originally from Indiana, she moved to North Carolina to study music in undergrad and later International Studies in graduate school, both at East Carolina University. Though she was raised in the church, it wasn’t until her early 20’s when the Gospel truly permeated her heart and she fully surrendered to the Lordship of Christ, becoming serious about her faith. She subsequently received believer’s baptism in her local church. As the Lord worked in her heart to grow her faith, He simultaneously placed a deep burden for the least reached people groups of the world.
Dylan and Krista met when Krista came on staff as the organist at the church Dylan attended throughout college. Attracted to each other’s missional hearts, they became friends, dated, and married in that same church. It was in the midst of this faith community where the Lord confirmed their calling for dedicating their lives to reaching the least reached.
The Nixons’ history with Finisterre Vision began in 2012, when Krista’s college best friend was in training to go to Papua New Guinea. Ultimately, the Lord called her friend to another ministry, but the seed was planted in Krista’s heart for the need of Gospel workers in the mountains of Papua New Guinea: a seed which is now sprouting and growing. They are currently students at Shepherds Theological Seminary in Cary, North Carolina as part of their biblical training for Papua New Guinea and are interns at Rooted Church, where they serve in music, teen ministry and college ministry.

Greg Brown
Greg was born and raised in Michigan. He attended a Presbyterian church through high school when the world distracted him. He graduated from Michigan State with a double major in chemistry and computer science. He began a career as a computer programmer while still an undergraduate and has done that for over twenty years. Along the way, he picked up a couple of masters degrees in information systems management and computer science. When he was thirty-one, God opened his eyes to the fact that he wasn’t actually a Christian and then graciously fixed that for him. This was effected through the evangelistic outreach of Berean Baptist Church in Livonia, Michigan. Greg still attends Berean. Within a few years, Greg began working with other members there to develop a program of evangelism and began evangelizing at public events such as local fairs and car shows. He has also worked with people from Berean and other local churches to evangelize the community in Dearborn and at various sporting events. Greg has been a long time usher at Berean and is on the men’s ministry leadership team.
Greg has a desire to take the Gospel to the lost and obey the Great Commission. After a successful career in IT, Greg is in a position to use lessons learned in that industry combined with his desire to share the Gospel and the Word of God with the lost. The remote and unreached people groups need to be reached for Christ and Greg is in a place in life where he can take this opportunity to assist in reaching them.
Brandon and Emma Jones
It is hard to tell which is the more perfect fit – Brandon and Emma for each other or Brandon and Emma in Finisterre Vision.
